Thank you! I appreciate you giving this story a shot, even if it wasn't quite in your area of interest. The heart of it was really Chris & Holly bonding, the zombies were just there to bring them together. ;)
The Wizard of Oz inspiration totally came from the artwork prompt I was given. I got so lucky with that!
I felt *really* bad about killing Sean, even "off-screen", but I was trying to emphasize the hopelessness of the apocalypse. If Sean Murphy wasn't able to survive, you know things are bleak. I'm sure Tim will eventually recover, just in time to host an Oz talent show for the surviving members of the community. :D
