Ha, it's funny, Mulder/Skinner was my first slash pairing, and now I don't even want to think about Mulder's cock. I don't know if it's that he's an ex-fandom, or my lingering rage at the collapse of the show.
I still haven't watched the last 3 episodes of the reboot. I can't bring myself to delete them from my DVR, but I have no real interest in watching them, either. But I have this remarkable ability to block out the post-jump-the-shark period of all my favorite shows. I'm pretty good at believing the last 2+ seasons of the X-Files never really happened. (It's a trick that comes in handy with Oz, too.) This summer, I re-watched many of the older X-Files episodes, and they were just as great as I remembered. (I was pretty heavily influenced by "Bad Blood" while writing this, it's one of my faves.)
