I love knowing what lines you particularly liked, especially since so many times I wonder "Will people even get this? Does everyone know about the Shake Weight for Men, the lyrics to Good Morning Starshine, the Twilight book titles?" Things that are ingrained in my brain, but may not be obvious to your average Rymon fan!
I LOVED the prompt you wrote the minute I read it, and the wheels immediately started turning. I actually had two-thirds of this story done about 3 months later, but then that stupid biography of Simon came out and I got all mad at him, LOL. I ended up writing that other story instead, and this one got buried. I started working on it again earlier this year after it was discovered that Ryan had been on a plane secretly headed to London for Valentine's Day weekend (until it was forced to make an emergency landing in Vegas). That was too much to just be a coincidence! But then he broke up with Julianne, and I got mad again because that meant I had to re-write the portion of the Prologue involving her, so it got pushed off for a while again. Once Simon's super-duper sperm seemed to somehow impregnate a female, I knew I had to finish it up before any more major canon-changing incidents occurred!
Anyway, thanks for the prompt, and thanks for all the other great Rymon things you've written over the years! I wanted to give something back to you to show my appreciation, and I'm glad this worked for you. :-)
