I can sort of understand the Tim/Diane hookup in that both of them were feeling really emotional—desperate, depressed, and not thinking clearly. But... it just seemed out of place.

Ha, I think my rewatch’s complete lack of a timetable helps me to keep it going. I’m just fitting in a single episode whenever I have the time and feel like it. And knowing that Keller shows up mid-way through S2 is driving me to keep going, too. ;D
