I seriously considered skipping Season 1 when I learned that Keller didn't show up until Season 2, and WOW what a mistake that would've been. Because Season 1 is great, and Lee is great, and Beecher's transformation is amazing, and it all gives so much CONTEXT to what happens in the rest of the series.

Also: DONALD GROVES and NINO SCHIBETTA are two of the best characters in the entire show, and they appear only in Season 1.

I have a close Twitter friend who's a huge Meloni fan who's never watched the first season of Oz, and I tried to convince her that she HAD to watch it, but alas, she didn't listen to me.
